A containership rammed a dock in Taichung, Taiwan on December 26 and the incident was all caught on video.
The ship is the around 1,000 TEU capacity Asiatic Sun which was being repositioned within the port when the accident occurred. As you can see from the video, the ship somehow lost control and rammed directly into the concrete pier, causing damage to both the ship and pier.
Reports say the ship has been detained amid an investigation.
