Keppel to Convert Moss-Type LNG Carrier into Floating Liquefaction Facility

Keppel Shipyard announced today they have signed a conditional contract with Golar LNG to perform the world’s first-of-its-type conversion of an existing Moss-type LNG carrier, the Hilli, into a Floating Liquefaction Vessel (FLNGV).

Golar LNG is funding this conversion through the offering of 11,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $54.00 per share.
