Oil Surges After U.S. Sanctions on Russia’s Rosneft and Lukoil
Oil prices surged around 5% to a two-week high on Thursday after the U.S. imposed sanctions on major Russian suppliers Rosneft and Lukoil over Russia's war in Ukraine.
Video shows an accident in a Cape Town dry dock involving the offshore supply vessel Go Regulus (in orange) and what looks like a fishing trawler (in blue).
Latest AIS data as of Dec. 7 shows the Go Regulus at the Sturrock Dry Dock repair and maintenance yard in Cape Town.
It appears as though there may have been some sort of flooding malfunction that led to the ships banging around inside the dock. Let us know your analysis in the comments.
