Leopard Crew Released by Somali Pirates

Somali pirates have released six crewmembers from the Danish-flagged MV Leopard after more than two years in captivity. The six hostages, two Danes and four Filipinos, have been held since their vessel was attacked January 12, 2011 in the Arabian Sea off Oman. Pirates Release Tanker After Stealing Cargo

LONDON--A vessel hijacked last week off the Ivory Coast has been released after the cargo of 5,000 metric tons of fuel oil was stolen, the ship's Nigerian manager said Tuesday. Somali pirates have released 22 hostages held since March 2010 aboard the M/V Iceberg 1, according to a statement by officials in Somali's semiautonomous region of Puntland. SEOUL (Reuters) - Four South Korean sailors abducted by Somali pirates 19 months ago were released on Saturday, South Korea's Foreign Ministry said.
