Höegh LNG announced today their 126,000 cubic meter LNG carrier, LNG Libra has been chartered by Spanish natural gas utilities company Gas Natural.
The vessel is scheduled to be delivered to Gas Natural in Trinidad at the end of May 2013, after having completed a scheduled dry docking in Brest, France.
The firm period of employment for the vessel is until mid-November 2013. Gas Natural has options to extend the charter period with up to 13 months.
The EBITDA contribution for Höegh LNG is expected to be between USD 2.6 million and USD 13 million, depending on when the vessel is redelivered to Höegh LNG.
President and CEO Sveinung J.S. Støhle says in a comment: “We are pleased to continue our good relationship with Gas Natural and to have entered into a new charter for LNG Libra in a challenging market.”
