Havila Shipping ASA announced today they have agreed with Fugro TSM in Perth, Australia to extend the firm contract period for the 2005/2007-built subsea vessel Havila Harmony, currently operating in Malaysia.
The firm period is four years and ends 30 April 2017 with two optional periods, each of one year.
Fugro also agreed to extend the charter period for Havila Phoenix for 5 months until 21 November 2013.
The extension will keep Havila Phoenix on contract until she well be docked for reconstruction for the next charterer.
The value of the contracts is for the firm periods approximately MNOK 425 million (USD $72 million).
