Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) announced today they have won an order for three containerships for a total consideration of KRW 470.3 billion (USD $421.5 million). The buyer was not specifically mentioned except that they were “Asian Shipowners.”
The order is rumored to be for three 18,000 TEU ships.
Delivery of the vessels is expected to be complete by Q4 2015.
