CMA CGM Marco Polo
On December 12, 2012, aka 121212, the world’s largest containership by teu capacity, CMA CGM Marco Polo, called on the port of Hamburg, marking the record setting ship’s first ever port call in continental Europe.
The ship is currently (as of Dec. 14) at the port of Bremerhaven, and she is expected to move on from there to Rotterdam (16 Dec), Zeebrugge (17 Dec), Le Havre (19 Dec), Malta (26 Dec), Khor Al Fakkan (5 Jan), Jebel Ali (7 Jan) and finally Ningbo (23 Jan).
