On Monday, the Maersk Mc-Kinney MÃ¸ller containership entered the Gulf of Aden on its way westward toward the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb, approximately 800 miles to the west. Providing a security escort along the way was the Dutch warship, HNLMS Van Speijk (F828).
