USCG spokesperson Lt. Scott Williams reports in a phone call that the 751-foot bulk carrier which ran aground on Virginia Beach on Monday night has been successfully pulled off the beach this morning at approximately 0935.
The operation was coordinated by Svitzer and utilized a pair of McAllister-owned tugs.
The ship is now moored at Lynnhaven Anchorage where divers will inspect the hull for damage.
