Have you received your Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal for service on U.S.-flag vessels in direct support of American and allied military operations in Iraq?

Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal

Here’s the scoop from MM&P’s weekly newsletter:

May 22 is National Maritime Day. The Maritime Administration is looking for mariners who may have earned the Merchant Marine Expeditionary (MME) Medal (MME) through their service aboard U.S.-flag vessels in support of American and allied military operations. If you believe you have earned the MME medal, please gather your discharges, letters of service or other documentation and contact Mike Rodriguez at MM&P headquarters.

Those not in the Union can contact MARAD directly. If you have already been issued the medal but have lost it replacements can be purchased here.
