Golden Ocean Orders Supramax Pair from Japan Marine United
Golden Ocean Group announced today that it has concluded two newbuilding contracts for 60,000 dwt Supramax bulk carriers with Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU) in Japan.
The design provided by JMU represents the latest fuel-saving technology available. The vessels are expected to be delivered during the first quarter of 2015.
No financial information about the deal was released.
