Four cargo ships hit the shore of Turkey last weekend during a storm that caused the vessels to drag anchor. The vessels include the Gofer B, Bodyer and Melek B which all hit the shore line near Nemrut Bay and the Zanzibar-flagged Pasha, which ended up capsizing and sinking near Pomegranate Pier in the Bal?kesir’in Erdek Thran township.
The three vessels that ran aground in Nemrut Bay had been in layup since 2012 according to a local news report.
