Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering announced today the winning of an order for two LNG carriers from an undisclosed European buyer.
The total contract value for the order is 439.2 billion KRW (USD $410 million) based on an exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,071.10 KRW.
These orders likely match up to the pair of LNG carriers ordered by the Maran-Nakilat joint venture last week.
