Crude tanker owner DHT Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:DHT) announced today that it has declared its option to construct a third VLCC at Hyundai Heavy Industries at a contract price of $92.7 million. This order follows two identical orders placed in December of 2013, all of which will be partially funded via last month’s $110 million private equity placement.
Vessel deliveries are scheduled for April, July and September 2016.
