Trump China Tariffs Set to Unleash Supply Shock on U.S. Economy
President Donald Trump’s tariff onslaught has roiled Washington and Wall Street for nearly a month. If the trade war persists, the next upheaval will hit much closer to home.
In a move to reduce debt, and to the overall benefit of the struggling dry bulk industry, Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp (NASDAQ: SHIP) announced today that the BET Fighter, a 173,149 dwt Capesize drybulk vessel, has been sold and will be subsequently scrapped.
The BET Fighter was built in 1992 at a gross price of US$9,107,455 and was delivered to its new owners yesterday.
