Pirates have freed 3 men that have been held hostage since being kidnapped by gunmen offshore Nigeria on November 17. The three men, two from the U.S., were kidnapped while working on the MV C-Endeavour, an Edison Chouest vessel working Chevron.
Little information about the kidnapping was ever released including whether the men were U.S. citizens working for Louisiana-based Edison Chouest Offshore. Still, little is known about the mens condition or if some kind of ransom was paid for their return.
