We recently brought you an indestructible USB drive but with a price tag of $99 and up, we imagine few of you actually bought one. This video from our friends at Systm will show you how to make your USB thumb drive waterproof.
If you want something truly indestructible just bring your drive (plus an extra for the A/E) back to the ship’s machine shop and have the engineers work their magic. If your at home try THIS or THIS.

I've found after leaving most of the usb drive's I've owned in my pockets at one time or another that they all appear to be waterproof in that I have washed about 6 of them over the years.
I did this with a lexar firefly over a year and a half ago. I removed the cover halves, coated the board in epoxy and stuck the case halves back together. threw it in a rum and coke at the bar to demonstrate it was waterproof. worked well so I've been doing it to anything small and USB ever since.. its old news to me...
