The Aker H-6e design semi-submersible drilling rig Transocean Spitzbergen is back to work this week for Statoil after a few months of suspended operations, according to Terry Bonno, Transocean’s SVP Marketing during last week’s 2014 earnings call.  The Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) said on Monday it has granted approval for Statoil to drill a wildcat well Roald Rygg located at block PL602 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The duration of the drilling period is expected to be approximately 34 days.
