Last week, West Coast Maritime Training held their first ever Leadership and Managerial Skills Training in Las Vegas, NV. Students and their families came from as far as New Hampshire. For a few days, class start times were set little later so that students can also enjoy the Vegas night-life and get enough rest for the next day’s class.
Las Vegas is an excellent spot for mariner training. Flights to Las Vegas are very reasonably priced from anywhere in the USA. The Baymont Inn, where training is held, is well located just shy of a few miles from the main strip. It is discounted for our students without those pesky resort fees and includes free shuttle service to and from the airport. The training is very reasonably priced at $1099. Folks can also stay at the resorts or be more frugal at our teaching hotel. Some of our class members researched and found super values for airfare, resort, and show packages. With all the gaming, this can be one of the most expensive or cheapest mariner training one has ever taken. These course are USCG approved.
West Coast Maritime Training always has available seats for training and no one is ever turned away – if they require this training. This is because West Coast Maritime Training only teaches Leadership and Managerial Skills and can quickly add classes as demand increases. For more information, call 360-621-7975. Also ask about our monthly training in Bremerton, WA.
Remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas – except with us you get an STCW class certificate for it!
