Super Heroes take-over the high seas after Palumbo shipyards in Messina Italy began decorating the sides of themed Tirrenia ships. The M/V is the first of Tirrenia’s ferries to put on a “new look:” that of the iconic DC Super Hero Batman! The new DC Themed ships arise from a partnership between Onorato Armatori Group, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment.
Each side of the Sharden was painted different images. One side of the ship will display the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin. The other side, features Batman with his famous archenemy The Joker.
As part of the refresh, the DC Super Heroes images also decorate the walkways and lounge areas on the ships… all for the enjoyment of young passengers and their families.
