SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)–Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings Ltd. (BS6.SG) Monday said it entered into six shipbuilding contracts with a total value of US$214.2 million.
The Singapore-listed shipbuilder, which inked the deals in March, will build four bulk carriers and two container ships for delivery from 2012 to 2013, the company said in a statement.
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding did not identify the firms that placed the orders.
