Houston, Texas – ABS Nautical Systems this week announced another year of record growth in 2010, signing 83 new clients with a combined total of 1053 vessels overall. In the month of December, 18 new customers were signed – a number that roughly equates to a new contract signed daily. New clients signed across the globe include Chevron, Reederei Offen, Hapag-Lloyd, Donnelly Tankers Management, Nereus Shipping, Fleet Management Ltd., NAVSEA and Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company.
“Our sales goals were very aggressive, but because of the building momentum from 2009 – we knew they were attainable,” said Joe Woods, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for ABS Nautical Systems. “We more than doubled our year-over-year growth and we continue to see this trend increasing. As such, we will continue to expand our global footprint to ensure that we provide our customers with the best service and delivery possible.”
ABS Nautical Systems opened new offices in Vancouver and Shanghai in 2010 to better serve each region, and will be announcing three additional openings in the spring of 2011. ABS Nautical Systems also entered the Vietnam market last year with two new contracts; Vietnam Petroleum Transportation Joint Stock Company and PVTrans Oilfield Services.
“Seventy five percent of the clients we signed last year are based outside of the United States and as we continue to see this international trend emerge, you will see us move into new regions around the world,” added Karen Hughey, President and COO for ABS Nautical Systems. “Our business continues to thrive with our customer-centric approach to innovation, and we are strengthening our core products everyday to better suit the industry needs.”
ABS Nautical Systems will soon be releasing an advanced version of its NS5 software suite, NS5 Enterprise, which will offer highly developed usability, reporting, speed, overall performance and two additional deployment options.
