A video uploaded to Youtube has some people on the internet thinking they’ve just seen a ghost (ship, that is).
The video was uploaded by Jason Asselin, who says he was out scoping out the fall colors in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with some friends when he spotted this mysterious object off the coast of Marquette. Asselin said the object appeared to be “gigantic”, as if “a ghost ship was showing itself to the world.”
A close up of the object almost looks as though it could be a tall ship, but it’s hard to say for certain.
Of course the internet is abuzz with theories about what exactly is seen in the video, ranging from simply a mirage to the Granite Island Light House about 12 miles from the coast.
