The hull arrived this morning in Genoa, Italy aboard the containership Maersk Stockholm and the world’s top carbon fiber construction experts at Persico Marine – located 200 miles inland at the edge of the Alps, will now move forward to piece her back together.
Last week, Team Vestas Wind announced they will move forward without navigator Wouter Verbraak and anticipate reconnecting with the rest of the Volvo Ocean Race fleet this June in Lisbon, Portugual.
