Kleven, the Ulsteinvik-based shipyard has announced this week the receipt of a newbuild contract from IES Pioneer, Ltd. a Malaysian joint venture. This is the first order the company has received from a SE Asian client, according to Kleven CEO Ståle Rasmussen.
The MT 6015 MPSV-design comes from Norwegian naval architecture firm MarinTeknikk, and will be outfitted with a crane, helideck and FiFi II.
Delivery will be September 2015.

The signed contract includes an option for a second vessel to be constructed and delivered in 2016.
