India Seeks $1.1 Billion Reparation After MSC Fuel Spill in May
The southern Indian state of Kerala has sued MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co. for the environmental damages caused by a ship capsizing off its coast, according to a court document.
Just weeks after one of their dredgers struck a subsea production pipeline in Calcasieu Channel, Manson Construction Company sustained another setback yesterday as their hopper Dredge NEWPORT lost one of it’s Ulstein Z-drive propulsion units in the very same channel leading to Lake Charles. The Coast Guard has reduced the channel draft to 27 feet until the propulsion unit is located and recovered.
