Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has secured three new service contracts worth over $260 million with Petrobras in Brazil.
The contracts involve survey and inspection work in Campos Basin, Santos Basin, and Espírito Santos Basin, with at least three vessels being utilized. DOF is expected to executive more than 3,200 inspections of flexible pipeline, risers and subsea equipment inspection
The contracts are a continuation of the services provided under a previous contract signed in 2020, commencing in December of that year.
The latest contracts are expected to commence in Q4 2023 and Q1 2024 and will be completed within 2 years.
“This is an important win securing high utilisation for us in Brazil and lifting the Group backlog to above NOK 25 billion. I’m very proud for the continued trust Petrobras give us for doing complex IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) work in very deep water,” said Mons Aase, CEO of DOF Group ASA.
