In November 2011, The Weather Channel unveiled the television series “Coast Guard Alaska.” Viewers were given an insider’s perspective on the lives of Coast Guard men and women in our nation’s Last Frontier as they battled Alaska’s harsh operating environment.
Following on the success of the first two seasons of “Coast Guard Alaska,” viewers now have a chance to see how Coast Guard men and women operate more than 4,000 miles away in the new series, “Coast Guard Florida.”
The new show will follow Coast Guard men and women, both on and off-duty, as they perform missions in the Sunshine State. From intense rescue missions in Florida’s shifting waters to the rigorous training required to save lives, “Coast Guard Florida” promises to show just how dedicated America’s Coast Guard is to the men and women of our nation.
