Black Sea Tensions Lead Grain Buyers to Tap Baltic States
Baltic grain exporters are seeing a boost in demand as blocked supplies from the Black Sea region are spurring buyers to seek alternative sources.

China Navigation Company (CNCo) confirmed today the newbuild order of four new handysize bulk carriers from Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan.
This latest order, signed on 7 June brings the company’s newbuild orderbook to 23, all of which are B.Delta37 designs from Deltamarin. CNCo notes that Swire Bulk, CNCo’s parent company, took delivery of its fifth B.Delta37 from Chengxi Shipyard that same week.
