US Says Russia and Ukraine Agree to Ceasefire in the Black Sea
The US said Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea and to work out mechanisms for implementing their ban on strikes against energy infrastructure.

Aberdeen-based offshore drilling contractor Awilco Drilling PLC, announced today they have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Apache North Sea Ltd and TAQA Bratani Ltd for the provision of their Friede & Goldman L-907 Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersible drilling rig WilPhoenix for a 3+2 year contract commencing in the second half of 2014.
The contract value for the first three year firm term is estimated to be approximately USD $424 million.
WilPhoenix (formerly the Arctic II) and its sister rig, WilHunter (previously Arctic IV) were acquired upon Awilco’s founding in December 2009 and are equipped to drill in water depths up to 1,200 ft.
Wilphoenix is DNV-classed, Vanuatu-flagged, and built in 1982.
