Ship - Heather Knutsen at Sunset

We use flickr to bring you the Photo Of The Day on our homepage and more than a dozen times a single photographer’s work has been featured; OneEighteen.

Why do we enjoy his work so much? Aside from the fact he takes amazing photographs, OneEighteen is a Houston Ship Channel Pilot who has an eye for interesting ships and situations. He also notates each photo with ship names, details and “insider info” from a pilot’s perspective.

Our favorite of his photos can be found HERE but we also enjoy the less spectacular like the photo titled “It didn’t happen on my watch!”.
