Video shot aboard the Judy platform in the North Sea shows giant 50-foot waves hitting the platform and adjacent accommodation rig CSCL Rival back in January. Check out the wave at 52 seconds, it nearly hits the bottom of the platform.
The Judy platform is located at ConocoPhillips-operated Jasmine field approximately 149 miles south-east of Aberdeen, in a water depth of 260 feet.
