Check out this aerial video showing the Panama Canal’s new set of locks under construction on the Atlantic side. The new locks which will allow for the transit of post-panamax ships up to 30% larger than what is currently possible.
The Panama Canal Authority says that the expansion project now stands at 69% completion, with the deepening and widening of the canal completed on both sides.
