Global roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) shipping and vehicle logistics provider, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, has just announced the signing of a substantial multi-year contract with a top industrial equipment manufacturer. The deal, valued at an estimated USD 195 million, spans three years with an optional two-year extension.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen said the value of the contract is based on expected volumes, with rates in line with current market levels.

“This renewed shipping agreement with our long-term client illustrates our commitment to securing the oceanic capacity necessary to support their market aspirations. It is based on a multitude of scheduled trade routes”, said Pia Synnerman, the Chief Customer Officer at Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

The Oslo-based Wallenius Wilhelmsen group operates approximately 125 vessels across 15 trade routes, reaching six continents. Their portfolio also includes a global inland distribution network, 66 processing centers, and eight marine terminals.
