A new video posted online shows the moment a mooring line securing an MSC ship to a dock in Brazil snapped.
You can see the line break at approximately the 45 second mark. Many commenters online were shocked at how violent it was; it almost sounded like a gunshot going off.
The vessel in the video is the MSC Ajaccio and the incident took place at Brazil’s Port of Paranaguá on November 4, according to the uploader of the video.
