Shipping company Universal Maritime Inc. said Wednesday it has withdrawn its initial public offering.

The company last month announced plans to raise between NOK1.02 billion and NOK1.2 billion by listing the company’s common shares on the Oslo Stock Exchange or Oslo Axess.
The first day of listing was expected to be on or about 12 Jul. 2012
