Viking Supply Ships’ 84 meter ice-class supply vessel/tug Tor Viking has just been chartered for an 11 month job off eastern Asia with an undisclosed oil major according to a statement today.
The value of the firm period of the contract is roughly USD $34.5 million according to a statement by Viking Supply today.
The Tor Viking is a DNV 1A1 ICE-10 classed vessel with a 200 ton bollard pull capacity and will commence work this month, with two six month options to extend.
