Two people were killed and two others injured in an explosion aboard a South Korean LPG tanker off Malaysia.
The explosion occurred late Wednesday aboard the tanker DL Calla while underway off the coast of Kuala Terengganu in northeast Malaysia. The vessel was reportedly carrying a cargo of LNG from South Korea to Thailand when the blast occurred.
The fire was extinguished by the time the Coast Guard arrived. All four victims, including the two casualties, were taken to a local hospital in Malaysia.
