Prosafe, a Cyprus-based owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation vessels, announced today they have has been awarded a USD $137.5 million contract from Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Limited for the provision of the Regalia accommodation vessel at the Montrose Platform in the UK North Sea.
The contract has been awarded following a competitive tendering process and is for a firm period of 450 days with on-site operations planned to commence late August 2014. In addition, Prosafe has granted Talisman Sinopec Energy UK four one-month options.
Prosafe is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange with ticker code PRS.
