Subsea 7 announced today the winning of a 3-year $160 million contract extension from BP Exploration & Production for light subsea construction, and inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) work in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
Subsea 7 spokesperson Jonathan Moore says the OCV Grant Candies and Siem Offshore’s newbuild Siem Stingray will be utilized for this contract. Both vessels are DP2.

The vessels will be managed by their respective owners and Subsea 7 will supply the ROV, survey and construction crew.
