Chevron Brasil (Chevron) has extended the contract for the STX ROV 06-design subsea construction vessel Skandi Salvador for the remainder of 2015, according to vessel owner DOF ASA.
The vessel has been operating for Chevron on the Frade oil field conduction subsea inspection, repair and maintenance since delivery of the vessel in 2009.
In addition, DOF says their has been awarded a 120 days contract + 60 days option with Sigurd Ross for their 187 ton bollard pull anchor handler Skandi Stord. The contract commences in April 2015.
