Another Greek Oil Tanker Exits Hormuz Despite Iran’s Blockade
Another Greek-controlled oil tanker has crossed the Strait of Hormuz, marking the fourth such voyage since hostilities in the Middle East began.
A greek car and passenger ferry began taking on water and listing heavily early Tuesday morning at Piraeus Port in Greece.
Photos and video of the ferry, named Panagia Tinou, show the ship partially sunk at its berth at the port.
The ferry was previously operated by Ventouris Sea Lines but was seized by authorities in early 2015 over mounting debts, including unpaid wages to crew.
The Hellenic Coast Guard says that five tugs have been sent to assist the ship. So far no pollution has been reported.
