Forget a ban, this guy is lucky to be alive!
Royal Caribbean has banned a 27-year-old man for life after a video of him jumping from an upper deck balcony went viral this week.
In the video, the man can be seen climbing over an 11th deck railing on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas and jumping into the water below as his friends laughed.
Reports say the incident took place last week when the vessel docked in Nassau, Bahamas.
Not only has the video earned him 15 minutes internet fame and a bruised tailbone (probably), but Royal Caribbean has now banned the man from its cruise ships for life and is even considering pressing charges.
This was stupid and reckless behavior, and he and his companions have been banned from ever sailing with us again,” Royal Caribbean said in a statement sent to USA TODAY. “We are exploring legal action.”
