PHOTOS: Bulker Up in Smoke at Palumbo Dockyard

Thick black smoke rises from the deck of the Liberia-registered bulk carrier Cape Tavor at the Palumbo dockyard in Valletta’s Grand Harbour, June 9, 2014. Equipment on the ship’s deck caught fire on Monday afternoon, causing alarm at the Palumbo dockyard but no injuries, according to local media. The shipyard is owned by Naples-based Palumbo Group.
