Dutch offshore vessel owner/operator Oceanteam Shipping and Mexican energy contractor Grupo Diavaz announced today the formation of a new shipping firm, DOT Shipping.
With a 40% stake in this new company, Oceanteam notes the company “will focus on providing high-end vessel solutions for the Mexican market.”
This does not appear to be a new relationship between the two firms however. According to Grupo Diavaz’ website, Oceanteam provides the vessels for their offshore operations.
We were unable to immediately reach Oceanteam for comment on this new venture.
