Not sure why you would launch a ship in the dark, unless of course you’re in Norway and only have 6 hours of daylight over the course of the entire day.
Such was the situation in Ulsteinvik last night at Kleven Verft’ shipyard. The shipyard launched the REM Arctic, a VS 485 MkIII Arctic-design PSV on order for REM Offshore.

The Rem Arctic has been designed and will be powered by Wärtsilä and is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2015.
