With a nominal TEU capacity of 19,224, the MSC Oscar currently ranks in as the world’s largest containership. The ship right now is in the midst of its maiden voyage on the Asia-Europe loop. Here it is arriving JadeWeserPort in Wilhelmshaven, Germany on March 7, 2015.
On Monday, MSC Oscar will call at the Port of Felixstowe, less than two months after the former world’s largest containership title holder, CSCL Globe, made its maiden call there.
