
Maersk LNG Goes Up For Sale
A.P. Moller-Maersk has said in a statment that the group is looking to divest its LNG unit despite better performance from most units and a Q1 profit increase of 82%. According to Reuters, the Group is “going to the market to find a potential buyer for Maersk LNG as (it) wishes to reallocate resources to other parts of the Group.”
Maersk LNG owns and operates a total of 8 LNG carriers, two with steam propulsion and six with Dual Fuel Diesel Electric propulsion.
