The 2007-built DP2 heavy lift crane vessel Lewek Champion performs a fixed offshore platform installation in the following undated video:
The Lewek Champion is on long term charter to EMAS from ICBC Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. Its main crane has an 800 ton capacity which was utilized to lift the steel jacket from the barge and position it upright on the sea floor. Piles were then inserted into the platform, welded together and then driven deep into the mud to anchor the platform solidly to the earth.
In July 2014, the Lewek Champion installed its 50th offshore platform for Chevron Thailand.
The Singapore-flagged vessel is currently located off the coast of Brunei.
